RETURN AND REFUND POLICY
Effective Date: 21/9/2026
This Return and Refund Policy applies to purchases made from Techrodex, trading as Techrodex International Trading LLC (“Company”, “we”, “us” or “our”), through techrodex.com, quotations, invoices, purchase orders or other authorized sales channels.
This Policy is subject to applicable laws of the United Arab Emirates. Nothing in this Policy excludes or restricts any right or remedy that cannot legally be excluded or restricted.
1. GENERAL POLICY
Unless required by applicable law, customers do not have an automatic right to return a product solely because they have changed their mind, ordered the wrong product, no longer require the product, found the product elsewhere at a lower price, or selected an incompatible product.
We may, at our discretion, approve a non-defective return as a commercial goodwill exception subject to the conditions below.
Approval must be obtained before any product is returned.
2. VOLUNTARY RETURNS OF NON-DEFECTIVE PRODUCTS
Where we agree to accept a non-defective return, the customer must normally:
• Submit the return request within 7 calendar days of delivery;
• Provide the original order or invoice number;
• Return the product unused, undamaged and in resaleable condition;
• Return all original packaging, manuals, accessories, cables, seals and documentation;
• Ensure serial numbers and product identifiers match our sales records;
• Obtain our return authorization before sending or delivering the product.
Approved non-defective returns may be subject to a restocking and handling charge of up to 20% of the product value where permitted by law.
Original shipping, installation, configuration and delivery charges are non-refundable for voluntary returns unless otherwise agreed.
The customer is responsible for the cost and risk of returning non-defective goods unless we agree otherwise.
These restrictions do not apply where a mandatory statutory remedy applies.
3. PRODUCTS NOT ELIGIBLE FOR VOLUNTARY RETURN
Unless defective, incorrectly supplied or otherwise subject to a mandatory legal remedy, we normally do not accept voluntary returns for:
• Custom-manufactured or made-to-order products;
• Labels, tags, wristbands or other consumables manufactured, cut, slit, printed, encoded or converted to customer specifications;
• Custom-sized or custom-core ribbons;
• Special-order or non-stock hardware ordered specifically for a customer;
• Products procured against an accepted quotation, purchase order or confirmed special request;
• Opened, used or partially consumed ribbons, labels or other consumables;
• Software licenses, activation keys, subscriptions or digital products once activated or supplied;
• Clearance, liquidation or specifically identified final-sale goods;
• Products damaged through misuse, incorrect installation, improper storage, accident or unauthorized modification; or
• Products purchased for a printer, scanner, mobile computer or other system that the customer incorrectly identified to us.
Nothing in this section removes statutory rights relating to defective, damaged, incorrectly supplied or misdescribed goods.
4. CUSTOM AND SPECIAL-ORDER PRODUCTS
Custom, manufactured and special-order goods are produced or procured specifically for the customer.
Once manufacturing, conversion, printing, procurement or supplier commitment has commenced, the order cannot normally be cancelled or changed.
Deposits and amounts already incurred or committed to suppliers may therefore become non-refundable to the extent permitted by law.
Before approving custom production, the customer is responsible for checking and approving relevant information including dimensions, material, adhesive, print method, colour, core size, roll quantity, printer compatibility, artwork, barcode information and other specifications.
Our acceptance of customer-supplied specifications does not relieve the customer of responsibility for errors contained in information provided by the customer.
This provision does not affect remedies available where the product supplied does not conform to specifications that we expressly agreed to provide.
5. DEFECTIVE, DAMAGED, INCOMPLETE OR INCORRECT GOODS
Where goods are defective, incomplete, damaged before receipt, materially different from the agreed description, incorrectly supplied, or otherwise qualify for a remedy under applicable UAE law, we will handle the claim in accordance with applicable statutory requirements.
Depending on the circumstances and applicable law, available remedies may include repair, replacement, return, refund or another legally required remedy.
No restocking fee will be charged where a return is accepted because of a defect, incorrect supply or another matter for which we are legally responsible.
Customers should report visible shipping damage, shortages or incorrect items as soon as reasonably possible after delivery and should retain the packaging and supporting evidence.
For efficient investigation, we recommend notifying us within 48 hours of discovering visible delivery damage or shortages. Failure to notify us within this recommended period does not remove any non-waivable statutory rights.
6. INSPECTION AND DIAGNOSIS
We may reasonably inspect, test or arrange manufacturer or authorised service-centre diagnosis of a returned product before determining the appropriate remedy.
Where testing establishes that the reported fault resulted from misuse, incorrect installation, incompatible consumables, unauthorised modification, physical damage, unsuitable operating conditions or another cause attributable to the customer, the return may be rejected and reasonable inspection, transportation or repair costs may be charged where legally permitted and disclosed to the customer.
7. WARRANTY CLAIMS
Products may carry manufacturer, distributor or Company warranties as stated on the relevant product listing, quotation, invoice or warranty documentation.
Warranty periods and conditions may differ by manufacturer and product.
A warranty does not normally cover consumable wear, accidental damage, misuse, improper installation, unauthorised repair, operation outside manufacturer specifications, or damage caused by incompatible third-party materials unless otherwise required by applicable law.
Where mandatory UAE warranty or consumer-protection obligations apply, those obligations take priority over any conflicting provision in this Policy.
8. COMPATIBILITY
Customers should verify printer model numbers, part numbers, dimensions, ribbon specifications, label materials, communication interfaces and other compatibility requirements before ordering.
Where we make a recommendation based on information supplied by the customer, the accuracy of that recommendation depends on the completeness and accuracy of the information provided to us.
If we expressly confirm in writing that a specific product is compatible with a specific device identified by the customer, that written confirmation forms part of the applicable product description.
9. RETURN AUTHORISATION
To request a return, contact:
Email: [EMAIL]
Phone: [PHONE]
Please provide:
Order or invoice number
Product/SKU
Serial number where applicable
Reason for return
Photographs or video where relevant
Description of the fault or issue
Do not send goods back until return instructions have been provided.
10. REFUNDS
Where a refund is approved, it will normally be issued using the original payment method unless another lawful arrangement is agreed.
Refund processing will begin after eligibility has been confirmed and, where applicable, returned goods have been received and inspected.
Banking institutions, card networks and payment providers may require additional time to credit a refund after we have processed it.
Refunds will include amounts required by applicable UAE law. Any permitted deductions relating to voluntary non-defective returns will be communicated before the return is finalised.
11. ORDER CANCELLATION
Stock orders may be cancelled before dispatch where operationally possible.
Special-order, imported, configured, customized or manufactured goods may not be cancellable once we have committed to procurement or production.
If we agree to a cancellation after costs have already been incurred, reasonable non-recoverable costs may be deducted where permitted by law.
12. BUSINESS QUOTATIONS AND PURCHASE ORDERS
Orders placed pursuant to an accepted quotation, commercial proposal, framework agreement or negotiated purchase order may be subject to additional agreed terms.
Where such expressly agreed terms conflict with this Policy, the specifically negotiated terms will apply to the extent permitted by applicable law.
13. STATUTORY RIGHTS
Nothing in this Policy is intended to waive, reduce or exclude any consumer right, warranty, remedy or obligation that cannot legally be waived under the laws of the United Arab Emirates.
